Janis has had many affiliations and achievements throughout her career including the first minority director with the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors.
One of her most awarding accomplishments was the first minority woman co-owner of a RE/MAX Real Estate Franchise. She received a Trailblazer award in 2015 for that accomplishment from the Central Indiana Realist Association Janis has also owned her Real Estate Company as JB Real Estate Consultants for over 25 years.
She is most proud of co-hosting a community radio show called Home and Finance Show which airs on Saturdays from 1-2 on 1310 A.M, 92.7 FM, and 95.1 FM for over 20 years. Her most recent community outreach of the Home and Finance Show was with WHMB, channel 40 on Tuesdays from 9-9:30 A.M for over 4 years Designations Senior Real Estate Specialist, Senior Home Coach, Accredited Buyers Representative, Sellers Representative Specialist, Short Sale Specialist, Code of Ethics Training, Graduate of Real Estate Institute.
Her greatest love are her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
